The Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe plays an active role in dealing with several disputes related to peace and security across the globe, with a focus on the Eurasian region incorporating politico-military and economic approaches through discussions, consensus decisions, and field operations with a reach of 57 members and 11 Partners for cooperation in 4 continents.

 

The “issue of Russia” has been an ever-present moot in the context of peace and stability in the region with not only its direct actions but the indirect involvement in other global conflicts. This became of utmost importance with the events of 2022 making the OSCE the most comprehensive platform for multilateral discussion of an ever-complex issue- one that needs quick resolution and review of the same at several levels- starting in Europe and the rest of the world, especially those who maintain an influence with Russia.
